Refund and cancellation policy

This policy applies to paid advisory engagements with File Ribbon Base Consulting Co., Ltd., including cash-flow advisory, financial planning reviews, working capital checkups, and owner cash briefings. Website fee pages are informational only; no payments are taken through this site.

Eligibility

Refunds are available when an engagement is cancelled under the conditions below, or when we cancel for reasons within our control before substantial work begins. Refunds are not available solely because you disagree with recommendations after a completed briefing.

Timeframe and deposits

A deposit (typically 40% of the agreed fee) reserves calendar time. If you cancel more than 14 days before the first scheduled working session, the deposit is refundable in full. Cancellations between 7 and 14 days receive a 50% deposit refund. Cancellations inside 7 days forfeit the deposit, unless we successfully refill the slot with another client, in which case we refund the unused deposit less a THB 5,000 administration charge.

Partial refunds

If work has started—document review, interviews, or forecast drafting—we calculate a partial refund by deducting time already spent at the rates implied by the engagement letter. Materials already prepared for your firm remain yours; unused future sessions may be refunded or rescheduled by mutual agreement.

Non-refundable items

Third-party costs approved by you in writing (for example specialised translation or courier of original documents) are non-refundable once incurred. Completed monthly retainer briefings already delivered are non-refundable.

Retainer briefings

Owner cash briefings require a three-month minimum. Early termination after the minimum is billed through the end of the current month. Unused future months on a prepaid block are refundable minus briefings already held.

Rescheduling and no-shows

You may reschedule a session once without charge if you give at least 48 hours’ notice. Later changes or no-shows count as a delivered session for fee purposes unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Refund process and method

Email hello@fileribbonbase.click with your engagement reference, reason, and preferred refund method (bank transfer to the original payer). We confirm eligibility within five business days and process approved refunds within 14 business days. Refunds return to the original payment source where practicable.

Work already started and exceptions

When a substantial portion of the scope is complete, we may offer a credit toward a follow-on engagement instead of cash where both parties agree. Force majeure events (severe flooding affecting Bangkok offices, government restrictions on meetings) allow mutual rescheduling without penalty.
